Food Kits Distribution Among Needy in Ganderbal Villages.

GANDERBAL JUNE(PTK)With people hailing from low-income groups who are earning from “hand to mouth” with struggling to earn their daily bread, they are under distress during this countrywide lockdown.

Today an awareness camp was organized by a non-government organization “SHE HOPE SOCIETY FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS” supported by “HCL FOUNDATION” in coordination with the district administration food items, masks and sanitizers in remote villages of Batpora and Narayanbagh of Ganderbal district.

Tehsildar wakura Mr. G M Bhat along with Mr. Sahir Majeed KAS, and Nodal officer were also present on the occasion.

Staff members of Government Middle schools of Batpora and Narayanbagh and the ASHA workers gave full support to the event.

Local people thanked the administration and NGO for the the distribution of food items among the needy people.

These initiatives are to ensure that the individuals do not become unwitting carriers of the virus and are well informed about the various preventive measures to be adopted.

Pertinent to mention here, As part of the country’s continued preparation and response for COVID-19, the various Organisations, Businessmans and Individuals had intensified the helping hand drive to combat the outbreak and spread of coronavirus pandemic in Kashmir.(PTK)
