Congress fails to deliver goods: Usman Majid

‘New political party will not be a 3rd Front’
Bandipora: Former legislator Usman Majid Sunday said that he is leaving Congress to join a political party that will be headed by Syed Altaf Bukhari.
Usman Majid said that the party that is coming up in Jammu and Kashmir is not a ‘Third-Front’ but it will be a disciplined political party that will work in the interest of people.
When asked why he will leave a national party like Congress, Usman Majid said that like all other political parties, Congress too failed to deliver goods and was not able to address the grievances of people. “I have decided to leave Congress and work in the interest of people in a party that will be launched soon in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
Pertinently, Usman Majid was a former government gunman who joined Congress and successfully contested Assembly elections from Bandipora. (KNT)
