Kashmir heading towards the first slot on longest internet gagged destination globally

Srinagar, Dec 14: The ongoing internet gag that started on August 5 in the wake of revocation of Article 370 is turning out to be the world’s first longest internet gag. The ongoing internet clampdown in Kashmir has taken the first place across worldwide.


According to www.internetshutdowns.in, the online platform highlighting the internet shutdowns globally states Darjeeling, West Bengal, India on the top of the list with 133 days of internet suspension whileas Kashmir, India holds the second slot with the ongoing internet clampdown of over 132 days just missing a day to book its place on top.
