Tral, July 25: Government forces on Thursday morning launched Cordon and Search operation in Nagbal village of Tral.
Sources said The Journal Press that a joint team of Armed forces including Army’s 42RR, Special Operation Group of local Police and paramilitary CRPF cordoned off all the roads leading to the Nagbal village of Tral in south kashmir
Sources informed that Army, police and paramilitary CRPF jointly launched anti militancy operation to eliminate the hiding militants in the area after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants.
He said door to door search operation was initiated and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed.
Local sources told that huge contingents of forces have been deployed in the area. However, No contact has been established with the militants so far, they said, adding that the operation was going on when the reports last came in.(TJP)
