Amarnath Yatra Breaks a 4-Year Record

Srinagar: This years’s Annual Amarnath Yatra has witnessed a huge rush of Hindu Devotees visiting the Amarnath Cave.
Official figures reveal that At least two lakh pilgrims have performed the Annual Hindu pilgrimage in the past 16 days making it the highest number to have visited the Himalayan cave during the first forthright in the last four years.
Since July 1, the day when the pilgrimage started, 2,05,083 pilgrims have visited the shrine.
On Wednesday, 1,972 yatris left Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas in Jammu for Baltal while 2,612 for Pahalgam base camp.
