Srinagar: Accusing successive governments of completely neglecting the Tral and it’s adjoining areas, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), State Spokesperson Altaf Thakur appealed the honorable Governor, Satya Pal Malik to upgrade the status of Sub District Hospital to District Hospital Status by providing all necessary facilities in the hospital.
Thakur said successive leaders in the area was the reason for the compounding miseries of general public, as they never bothered about them. “Our local leaders have failed to mitigate the sufferings of people here. They only made their families from rags to riches, but did nothing for common people,”Thakur said.
Thakur demanded facilities like engagement of doctors and necessary staff members in the hospital including emergency operation theatre, Gynecologist ward, pediatrics and trauma centre in the hospital.
“A complete infrastructure at par with District Hospital be provided to the people of Tral,” he demanded.
Thakur also said unnecessary referral is rampant in the hospital and the same should be stopped to save precious human lives.
“I appeal governor sahib to take these issues seriously for the welfare of general public,” Thakur said.
Thakur also demanded much needed blood bank facilities in the hospital.
During the day long election campaign tour in favour of his party candidate for Anantnag Lok Sabha polls, Thakur visited Noorpora, Dadsara, Meer and ….. .
He gave patient hearing to different delegations and assured that their genuine grievances are addressed. “BJP led Modi government is committed for the development of people of state. I assure you scores of developmental works would be started very soon here,” he said.
