Government forces on Friday evening resorted to aerial firing after their vehicles came under intense stone pelting in Pulwama village.
Reports reaching said that forces vehicles came under heavy stone pelting by youth at Murran place in South Kashmir’s Pulwama while they were coming to check a local school for elections.
The Army, witnesses said, resorted to heavy firing to disperse the youth. Locals said that this was second time in a day that clashes erupted in the area. Earlier, after heavy clashes in the area, forces went back, they said.
An official told that forces going to check a local school for polling booth in view of the coming election however they came under heavy stone pelting at main Murran after which forces fired some shots in air to disperse the protestors.
