District Cricket Association Ganderbal elects president, advisory committee

Ganderbal. April 22: District Cricket Association Ganderbal on Monday elected its president and advisory committee during an election at its office in Ganderbal.

In a statement issued here the spokesman sad that renowned cricketer Nissar Ahmad was unanimously elected as president of DCAG

“Representatives of all the cricket clubs from various tehsils of Ganderbal participated in the election to elect president and advisory committee, ” the spokesman said.

He said that Afroz Ahmad Mir, Irfan Jin, Khan Owais, Irfan Ahmad, Urfeed Ahmad and Abdul Majeed were elected as members of the advisory committee for DCAG

Recently, the newly drafted constitution of JKCA, which gives each district equal representation, was approved by BCCI, hence the board directed districts to come up with properly elected cricket bodies.
