Sopore, April 18 : Government forces on Thursday night launched a cordon and search operation at Nethipora area Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports reaching to that joint team of army’s 22 RR, 92 BN CRPF, 177BN CRPF, and SoG Sopore laid a siege Nethipora village in Sopore late today evening.
A police officer also confirmed and said that the cordon was launched following inputs about the movement of some suspected militants.
Local sources told that forces have installed the lights in the area and conducted door to door search operation.
