A 7th class student was allegedly killed as forces open fire after youth pelted stones in Mandigam area of Qaziabad Handwara.
As per reports 7th class student identifed as Owais Ahmad Mir S/o Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Mandigam Qaziabad was injured during clashes in Mandigam area.
Sources said that youth pelted stones as the forces were leaving the area after voting was over. Forces retialated and Owais got injured.
He was rushed to SDH Kralgund where doctors referred him to Handwara in critical condition.
Owais was declared brought dead by doctors in Handwara Hospital.
