IGP Kashmir visits Budgam, chairs meeting to review poll preparedness

Srinagar: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Swayam Prakash Pani IPS on Thursday visited district Budgam and chaired a meeting of officers.
A police spokesperson in a statement said that IGP Kashmir was accompanied by DIG CKR Vidhi Kumar Birdhi IPS and SP Budgam Amod Nagpure IPS.
The spokesman in a statement said that while chairing the meeting of officers from the district, IGP Kashmir reviewed the preparedness for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The spokesman said that IGP directed the officials to maintain the highest standard of discipline while discharging duties professionally in the field and work with commitment and dedication.
He directed the officials to make efforts for coordination among the forces personnel at the ground level so as to ensure a conducive atmosphere for elections, said the spokesman.
