Elderly woman dies in Handwara road mishap

Handwara: In a tragic road accident an elderly woman died after hit by a speedy tipper at Langate area of Handwara in North Kashmir’s Froienter district on Tuesday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that a 50 year old woman was critically injured after hit by a speedy tipper at Langate area this afternoon, however she was rushed to local hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Saleema begum (50) wife of Nazir Ahmad Mir resident of Safalpora Qaziabad.
Meanwhile Police in this regard has registered a case and further investigation has been taken up.
